White House Provides Updates on Deliverables of the Executive Order on AI
The White House provided updates on the deliverables of President Biden’s Executive Order on AI, released in October 2023. Federal agencies charged with implementing these orders reported that they have completed all of the mandated 270-day directives, including the development of a companion resource to NIST’s AI Risk Management Framework for generative AI. The White House also announced Apple has signed on to its voluntary commitments for AI safety.
