Insecurity Insight, a nonprofit organization in Switzerland that records threats facing people living and working in dangerous environments, has created a series of datasets documenting incidents where educators have been killed, kidnapped, or arrested and incidents where schools have been damaged or destroyed. The datasets cover 2019, 2020, and 2021 and show that Nigeria, Syria, Cameroon, and Colombia have the most reported events in 2021 so far.
