The New York Times has mapped the major fires burning in California, Oregon, and Washington. The maps illustrate the locations of the major fires in each of the three states, including which parts are still actively burning and which parts have been contained. For example, a map of the Glass Fire in California shows the fire has spread across over 48,000 acres in Napa and Sonoma Counties. Another map shows the air quality index, a measure of air pollution, in cities that are in close proximity to a major fire.
