The U.S. Small Business Administration has released a dataset of information about the nearly 5 million loans lenders provided under the Paycheck Protection Program, which provided funds to support businesses in response to COVID-19. The dataset includes information on loan amounts, business types, and the number of jobs the loans helped retain. The average loan size is roughly $100,000.
